Cloud1 is a leading consultancy specializing in Azure data and analytics solutions. As a Service Manager, you are part of the DMO team responsible for the delivery and management of Cloud1 services. You will work closely with customers, chief architects and the Cloud1 delivery team to deliver ongoing services and continuous development to Cloud1 customers.
You will be responsible for delivering continuous services to the clients assigned to you. You will represent Cloud1 services to the customer, ensuring the perception of Cloud1 as a quality and professional provider is met, so that implementations and solutions fulfill the promised service levels. You understand the customer’s business-driven technology needs and help the customer solve challenges. You will also be responsible for developing the customer solution through a continuous delivery model.
To succeed in this role, you need a strong interest in understanding customer needs, enthusiasm for new technologies and the Azure ecosystem, and a solution-oriented approach. You are eager to develop yourself and learn new technologies at an applicable level. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job requirements
Delivery of Continuous Services:
- Monitor service progress and support specialists when needed, prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary
- Report on service levels to the customer and hold service meetings
- Improve the service process and bring development areas to the customer’s attention
- Launch continuous services for new customers
Management of Continuous Development:
- Guide the Cloud1 delivery team in assigned client accounts within the continuous delivery model
- Hold weekly meetings, organize backlogs and kanban boards, and monitor development tasks
- Report the status of development tasks to the customer and ensure adequate resources
- Maintain a resource forecast and review time entries
- Work closely with the customer’s product owners, steering groups, and Cloud1 internal and other stakeholders
We expect you to have:
- A higher education degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in IT service delivery, e.g., as a Service Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master
- At least 3 years of experience in delivering data and integration services with Microsoft technologies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a proactive attitude
- Fluency in Finnish and English
